Admission Criteria for MBBS in Egypt:

MBBS eligibility in Egypt is a little complicated since they take your high school and 10+2 grades into account when determining your eligibility for admission to the program.

  1. Grades

* Public universities: Your grades must be 75% or above.

* Private universities: 58% or higher.

An average of 10th grade Science, Math, and Social Science subjects must be used while computing grades, whereas Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Languages must be considered for 10+2. There must be eight subjects, three from the tenth and five from the twelfth grades.

FMGE for Indian students doing MBBS in Egypt

The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) is a mandatory screening test for candidates who have finished their MBBS or primary medical degrees overseas and want to practice medicine in India. Medical practitioners will be eligible to register with their state medical councils, or SMCs, only after passing the FMGE. 

It is a computer-based exam that occurs twice a year, in June and December. Applicants must get ECs (eligibility certificates) from the Medical Council of India (MCI) by their published standards to sit for the test.
