Customer and Difficulty

Heineken Mexico aimed to reach a wider audience and establish an efficient sales channel through mobile technology by launching a mobile app. The app would enable users to purchase beer and related items, such as snacks, cups, and more, and have their orders delivered promptly. The Glup Delivery app began in this way.

We audited and tweaked logos, developed extended brand identities, designed websites, created custom 3D icons and illustrations for marketing and user experience goals, and designed delivery applications’ user interfaces and user experiences from the ground up. The clients came to the tubik team with a wide variety of design tasks.

Process

Creating a versatile identity and a consistent, functional user experience design were the two main focuses of the creative process.

Visual Identity Development

Establishing strong branding was the first order of business in order to ensure the consistency of the customer experience across all marketing initiatives and mobile interactions.

The brand’s logo was already there, but it needed some tweaks to make it more versatile for different advertising and marketing goals and give it a more modern, trendy look that would appeal to the target audience.

Without a doubt, the crew made use of color power and its incredible capacity to instantly establish the desired atmosphere. The primary brand colors were deep purple, which set effective contrast and playfulness, and yellow, which set the cheerful spirit and gave instant association to the beer theme. The color palette was designed to support the defined objectives and be flexible. In addition, a wider range of colors was created to accommodate various product presentation styles.

Identity management

Consistent use of a set of abstract geometric shapes across all branded products, advertisements, packaging, social media, and mobile app screens was another component of visual branding. Additionally, these forms mirrored the components of the clock face, establishing a strong correlation with the delivery speed as a crucial attribute. Designing for User Experience

Modern, well-balanced 3D visuals showcase the items and establish a welcoming atmosphere in the onboarding screens and categories. These unique visuals don’t take away from the offered items, thanks to their distinct style.

From 2D graphics that echoed the app’s graphic elements and conformed to the overall idea of visual branding to a large set of 3D icons that followed the style of the 3D illustrations used throughout the app and during onboarding, the icons that serve as visual illustrative markers for the various categories of items in the application also went through multiple revisions. Application

The application’s light, airy screens showcase the products well, and the use of branded colors, graphics, and gradients makes navigation easy and pleasant by setting attractive color accents for the interactive elements. To further aid in usability and maintain brand consistency in performance, the interface features custom icons that mirror the brand palette. Customers can peruse the whole catalog, apply filters to narrow their search, or use the in-built search bar to zero in on exactly what they’re looking for in the extensive product selection. When users have favorites and order the same items multiple times, they can save time and effort by adding the items directly to the basket without opening the card. The plus button on each catalog screen sets this shortcut.

With the help of the principles of external consistency and well-recognized mental models, the shopping cart screen is both informative and functional, allowing users to effortlessly finalize their orders. To help visualize the possibility of getting free shipping for the order, a special progress bar is utilize, along with the text hint.

A Name for Your Mobile App

Having a clear and informative landing page that highlights the app’s features and encourages potential new users to give it a try is a crucial part of developing a strong mobile app brand and improving its online presence. The visual identity of the brand is reflect in the design approach of the Glup application’s landing page. The design is built around a vibrant color palette that serves as a backdrop for various sections of content. It has a clear visual hierarchy of text blocks and prominent visuals that showcase a balanced blend of app screens and themed 3D graphics. These elements help to establish an instant connection to the essence of the service being offer. The user experience becomes even more vibrant and interactive with the addition of smooth web animation.
